The Ultra Zero Air Station series produce laboratory grade purifi ed air for the most accurate and convenient calibration of testing equipment.
Designed with safety and convenience in mind, this system will generate purifi ed air from an existing in-house oil-free compressed air supply, eliminating the need for inconvenient high pressure gas cylinders.
This complete turnkey system is engineered with the highest quality components, is easy to install and requires only minimal annual maintenance.
The Ultra Zero Air Station DO NOT requires external compressed air supply.
The ergonomic, compact and silent design makes the Ultra-Zero Air Station series generators the ideal
solution for the following analytical applications: GC-FID, GC-NPD, GC-FPD, GC-PFPD, THA, GC-ATD, calibration of testing equipment, TOC.

Operation
The internal pump compresses the ambient air .
Once compressed, the air is cooled and dried by an automatic coalescent filter. Air is next channeled into a dual column pressure swing adsorption air dryer to remove water vapor and carbon dioxide from the supply. While one of the dryer column is active, the other one is regenerating by back purging the excess air.
The adsorbed water and carbon dioxide are vented to atmosphere in this process. A solenoid valve automatically switches from the air supply to the newly regenerated column when this process is complete. Air is next channeled into a stainless steel catalyst chamber where any background hydrocarbons or carbon monoxide are oxidized stainless steel catalyst chamber where any background hydrocarbons or carbon monoxide are oxidized. This chamber is filled with a highly efficient platinium –palladium catalyst, heated to very high temperature to insure hydrocarbon removal to less than 0.1 ppm.
The compressed Ultra Zero air is stored in an internal tank.
A final high grade filter is used to remove 99.99% of particulates greater than0.5 microns in size. Then the air is regulated in pressure and ready to use.
The compressor stops once the tank has reached its upper pressure level and starts again, once the tank has reached its lower pressure level. |
