The Zero Air Station generators series produce laboratory grade purifi ed air for the most accurate and convenient FID and other detectors like FPD.
Designed with safety and convenience in mind, this system will generate Hydrocarbon free air, eliminating the need for inconvenient high pressure gas cylinders.
This complete turnkey system is engineered with the highest quality components, is easy to install
and requires only minimal annual maintenance.
The Zero Air Station DO NOT requires external compressed air supply.
The ergonomic, compact and silent design makes the Zero Air station series the ideal solution for the following analytical applications: GC-FID, GC-NPD, GC-FPD, GC-PFPD, THA.

Benefits
Better detector performance
The reduction of hydrocarbons, including methane to < 0.1 ppm decreases the background noise level and gives the baseline much better stability, considerably increasing detector sensitivity and ensuring precise analytical results.
Easy installation
DO NOT requires external compressed air supply
To save bench space, the unit can be easily installed under the bench
Lab safety
No more bottles in the lab and expensive pipelines for air distribution
Save money
The unit only requires connection to a suitable socket
The investment can be paid back in less than a year.
Improved lab efficiency
Continuous operation 24 hours a day cuts dead times for gas bottle
changeover and avoids the need for tedious instrument recalibration |

Operation
The internal pump compresses the ambient air.
Once compressed, the air is cooled and dried by an automatic coalescent filter. Air is next channeled into a stainless steel catalyst chamber where any Background hydrocarbons or carbon monoxide are oxidized.
This chamber is filled with a highly efficient platinium – palladium catalyst, heated to very high temperature to insure
hydrocarbon removal to less than 0.1 ppm.
The compressed Zero air is stored in an internal tank. A final high grade filter is used to remove 99.99% of particulates
greater than0.5 microns in size. Then the air is regulated in pressure and ready to use.
The compressor stops once the tank has reached its upper pressure level and starts again, once the tank has reached its
lower pressure level. |
