The determination of the hydrocarbon oil index in surface, industrial and process water in compliance with EN ISO 9377-2 (H53) is daily routine in many laboratories. Using intelligent sample preparation, time and costs for the analysis can be significantly reduced.
The LCTech Elufix columns can be used for all kinds of samples. They are delivered factory sealed and can instantly be used without further pre-treatment. The single-use columns are filled with 2g, 4g or 10g of activated Florisil and 2g anhydrous sodium sulphate. The use of inert materials like glass, fiber glass and PTFE excludes interactions with the analytes as well as contaminations.
LCTech checks the suitability of each Florisil ® charge in-house according to chapter 9.6 of the DIN standard and documents the result in a lot certificate.
