Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650 media is a high capacity cation exchange resin* optimized specifically for high throughput purification of IgG. Toyopearl HW-65 resin is the polymeric base bead, which is chemically modified to provide a high level of cationic binding sites for IgG. It exhibits typical dynamic binding capacities in the vicinity of 100 mg/mL for IgG. This new polymer product is stable at high linear velocities, has good pressure flow characteristics and will withstand back pressures up to 3 bar. The new higher capacity and back pressure stability of Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650 resin creates opportunities for increased throughput in downstream cation exchange purification steps.

Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650 resin has a different selectivity than Toyopearl GigaCap S-650 resin. With its unusually high capacity for a weak cationic exchange resin this selectivity may be exploited for either mAb or traditional protein purifications.

Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650 media also has excellent base stability in 0.5mol/L NaOH.

Toyopearl GigaCap Q-650 media is a high capacity anion exchange resin* optimized for the capture and purification of both small and large proteins. Toyopearl HW-65 resin is the polymeric base bead chemically modified to provide a higher number of anionic binding sites for increased resin capacity . It exhibits typical dynamic binding capacities in the vicinity of 175mg/mL for BSA (66kD) and 49mg/mL for thyroglobulin (660kD). 

This new polymer product maintains high capacity at increased linear velocities, has good pressure flow characteristics and will withstand back pressures up to 3 bar. The new higher capacity and back pressure stability of Toyopearl GigaCap Q-650 resin  creates opportunities for increased throughput in all anion exchange purification steps.

In addition to the high DBC and good pressure flow characteristics, Toyopearl GigaCap Q-650 media displays excellent binding and elution kinetics, which results in a more concentrated protein fraction collected during the elution step.

Toyopearl GigaCap S-650M media also has excellent base stability in 1.0mol/L NaOH and shows robust clean in place properties with minimal loss of capacity after 50 X 1 hour cycles of caustic exposure also using 1.0mol/L NaOH.

Toyopearl Q-600C AR resin is a strong anion exchanger designed to be more alkaline resistant (AR) than Toyopearl QAE-550C resin. It has a slightly larger pore diameter than Toyopearl QAE-550C resin, but its ligand attachment chemistry creates significantly more dynamic binding capacity (up to 3x higher) than Toyopearl QAE-550C resin. (see comparative data) It tolerates caustic cleaning solutions up to 1.0 mol/L NaOH well with essentially no change in DBC.

Its elution kinetics are good and its retentivity is slightly stronger than Toyopearl QAE-550C resin.

TOYOPEARL GigaCap® CM-650M media is a high capacity cation exchange resin* optimized specifically for high throughput purification of IgG. Toyopearl HW-65 resin is the polymeric base bead, which is chemically modified to provide a high level of cationic binding sites for IgG. It exhibits typical dynamic binding capacities in the vicinity of 100 mg/mL for IgG. This new polymer product is stable at high linear velocities, has good pressure flow characteristics and will withstand back pressures up to 3 bar. The new higher capacity and back pressure stability of Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650 resin creates opportunities for increased throughput in downstream cation exchange purification steps.

Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650 resin has a different selectivity than Toyopearl GigaCap S-650 resin. With its unusually high capacity for a weak cationic exchange resin this selectivity may be exploited for either mAb or traditional protein purifications.

Toyopearl GigaCap CM-650 media also has excellent base stability in 0.5mol/L NaOH.

TOYOPEARL GigaCap® S-650M media is a high capacity cation exchange resin* optimized specifically for the capture and purification of IgG. Toyopearl HW-65 resin is the polymeric base bead chemically modified to provide a high level of cationic binding sites for IgG. It exhibits typical dynamic binding capacities in the vicinity of 140 mg/mL for IgG. This new polymer product is stable at high linear velocities, has good pressure flow characteristics and will withstand back pressures up to 3 bar. The new higher capacity and back pressure stability of Toyopearl GigaCap S-650  resin creates opportunities for increased throughput in downstream cation exchange purification steps.

While Toyopearl GigaCap S-650 media was specifically optimized for IgG, it also exhibits high binding capacities for smaller proteins. Typical dynamic binding capacities for lysozyme are in excess of 160 mg/mL.

Toyopearl GigaCap S-650M media also has excellent base stability in 1.0mol/L NaOH and shows robust clean in place properties with minimal loss of capacity after 50 X 1 hour cycles of caustic exposure also using 1.0mol/L NaOH.

TOYOPEARL GigaCap® Q-650M media is a high capacity anion exchange resin* optimized for the capture and purification of both small and large proteins. Toyopearl HW-65 resin is the polymeric base bead chemically modified to provide a higher number of anionic binding sites for increased resin capacity . It exhibits typical dynamic binding capacities in the vicinity of 175mg/mL for BSA (66kD) and 49mg/mL for thyroglobulin (660kD). 

This new polymer product maintains high capacity at increased linear velocities, has good pressure flow characteristics and will withstand back pressures up to 3 bar. The new higher capacity and back pressure stability of Toyopearl GigaCap Q-650 resin  creates opportunities for increased throughput in all anion exchange purification steps.

In addition to the high DBC and good pressure flow characteristics, Toyopearl GigaCap Q-650 media displays excellent binding and elution kinetics, which results in a more concentrated protein fraction collected during the elution step.
